I thought it would be interesting to have a topic where we can ponder about the bible, God, and others. Maybe also it's relation to Aetherlight! We can debate about what we believe here, and ask others questions about things that we can't understand. I know praying is the best way to get answers, but we can ponder here!

I always was curious about this, when Jesus says he will restore earth, and bring back all the dead -not in those exact words, and sorry I don't have a verse for ya'll- I begin to think hard. If he brought back millions, and millions of people from bible times to the 2000s how are we going to ALL fit on this one tiny earth? We are already squeezed on here with one generation... How will we fit? Will the earth expand when Jesus comes? Any thoughts or ideas about this?

Think about it, @Rachel_Blackruin. There is literally SO MUCH space left on this planet that is technically "uninhabitable", well, in a perfect world, things wouldn't really be that way. Therefore giving A LOT more space than you would most likely think.

Most, if not all, of the unbelievers will be killed at the end of the Great Tribulation. Also people coming back from the dead probably won't need to eat or sleep, so the Earth can support a lot more people. Less farmland will be needed, and maybe even less homes because of a better climate.

Hey guys, I also just thought I'd something really quickly before I have to go. This topic is great and all, and it'd be a great place to ponder about the mysteries of the Bible and other things, buuuuuuuuuuuuut....

please be careful to, if you happen to disagree with someone's opinions, please start your argument in the Law and Order topic as not to get off, well, topic. This is sort of a forewarning, as I'd hate to see this great topic go down the drain of SPAM!!!

Well, I was thinking, I'm not sure if this fits in with everything about this tribulation and stuff, but I thought we're all gonna be in heaven and the New Jerusalem is in heaven. And heaven (what I believe) is outside of space and time, so that's how they fit everyone in. I'm not going to go into all the details of being outside of space and time because it's quite complicated so I'll just leave it at that.

New Jerusalem is not heaven. It says in Revelation that New Jerusalem descends FROM heaven ONTO new earth. I'll post the verses later.
After the rapture, the saved-by-Jesus people are in heaven for 7 years while the tribulation is going on. After the tribulation, the Christians and Jesus go back onto the earth and Jesus reigns for 1000 years. Then Satan musters one final attack and God basically defeats him with fire from heaven. Then New Earth comes, and the the Bible says the old have passed away, so I'm thinking it's an ENTIRELY new earth. That's where New Jerusalem is located.

Here is an interesting question which I would like to hear your thoughts upon: How do you view the spiritual world? I believe that it is more realistic than the physical world. Since Lucifer was banished to Earth after his fall from heaven it means that Lucifer and all the angels banished with him are on the earth and very much bond to the earth, perhaps forever if God turns earth into the lake of fire (just an idea). I believe that angels and demons are not the kind of thing that kids dress up as on Halloween, but instead that Angles are huge majestic beings of light who likely wear armor, carry a sword and often engage in huge battle. Demons are extremely despicable beginnings, far more terrible than humans can conceive, many carry weapons and are constantly battling Angels in an attempt to stop Devine acts and to prevent the salvation of humans. I also believe that all Christians do indeed have a guardian angel that protects and fights for them. I could say more, but I will let you talk about your views now.

Hmm, I think this is something to talk about. I agree that

Maybe in a different way, but this idea is the same.

What I picture angels as are like giants, who wear armor. (Like you suggested) but sometimes I think of the Cherubim and Swords, which guarded the Garden. In Genesis 3 we learn that God placed the Cherubim and flaming sword at the entrance, to guard the tree of life, I picture the Cherubim as angels.

Here is a question: Do you think that angels will vary in shapes, sizes, color skin? Or do you believe they are all the same? I believe they are like us humans, different faces, hair, weight, skin...

I really have no idea, you could say they do all look different so that they can be distinguished from each other and because God is a God of variety. On the other hand since they do not have the freedom of choice God may have made them all the same, a bit like robots.

They DO have freedom of choice, or else the angles-turned-demons couldn't have actually turned demons. - raises eyebrows -

Yep, @Hanna_Brassheart! But my thought is that I don't think anymore angels will be turning into Satan's dark legions. (unless I'm wrong, I haven't put too much thought into it...)

The demons now were the angels that chose to reject God and follow Lucifer, but the angels we will and do see today are the ones that chose to stay loyal to God. I don't think that God makes more angels. (again, unless I'm wrong... O_O)

Other than that, I personally believe that we all have an angel "assigned" to us by God, who helps protect us spiritually.

Well actually, I've been doing a bit of research on angels last school year for a final project. Demons do have freedom of choice. God actually gave them a sneak peak on what's to happen in the future to see who would remain loyal to him. That's how Lucifer betrayed God. He was okay with serving God, but he was too proud to serve a human. That's why he became a traitor, because he was too proud to serve God the human. If you have any other questions, I am open.
