My hobbies are all ages skills toys: yo-yos, kendamas, Japanese Koma spin tops & juggling Diabolos.
Most people don't know about them, when they think of Yoyos they think of those cheap yo-yos they got as kids, not the modern, unresponsive metal yo-yos. In fact the yoyo community is dominated by university students & adults, not just kids. Every year they name a worldwide yoyo champion who usually is an adult in their 20s + . Same for the Kendama. I also love Japanese Koma spin tops, in my country nobody knows how to spin a top or do tricks, but in Japan everybody young & old does. Go to Japan & you'll see elderly people playing with them beside young folk. Same for diabolos. I really love juggling Diabolos, it's very fun learning new tricks & doing something offiine & not on the computer.
It's fun learning new tricks, seeing your improvement & being part of the communities online on Instagram etc. I'd love to go to a worldwide competition someday. If you guys are looking for a new hobbies I'd say check out [ YOYOTRICKS.COM] & buy yourself a pro yoyo. They have over like 300 tutorial tricks to learn & it's so much fun!
I'd love to enter a competition one day they have a adult womens division so no, yo-yoing isn't just for kids or boys.
