I am now reading The Voyage of the Dawn Treador That's the last book I read before I stopped reading Narina.
It was like... 3 4 years ago? I was reading The Silver Chair and I got to the part with the poisonous snake.

"There's a poisonous snake!?! How do they let people read this!?!"
