That used to be my favorite when I was young, but in addition to being:
The sequels (and, I may add, the first book) skyrocket in being inappropriate in later chapters, and as such, a few months after reading them, I threw them out. I wouldn't recommend the books to anyone in general.
On a more positive note, I have just finished reading two books, and am a third of the way through the last one:
The Pilgrim's Regress by C.S. Lewis, Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky, and The Brothers Karamazov by the latter.
Pilgrim's Regress is alright (3/5 or 5/10 stars), Crime and Punishment is good (3/5 or 6/10 stars), and The Brothers Karamazov is very good, from what I've read so far (4/5 or 7/10 stars).
