I read divergent a couple days ago, then yesterday and today l read httyd 8 (the books are waaay better than the movies.)
Breh, I've seen the Divergent movies, they were dope. Haven't read the books though.
In the movies, they never really get around to Training Their Dragons... I've watched all three and littetally can't remember which villain goes with which movie... They were all fun to watch, but kind of the same plot.
Agreed. I didn't realize there were books for a long time and then I read them and was like "Wow. These are good."
I just finished reading Mrs. Frisby and the rats of NIMH I enjoyed it very much.
Has anyone read any of the new Star Wars books about the High Republic?
Hey @Anyone_Who_Reads_KOLTC, does anyone know who everyone on the collective are? I know 2 of Forkle's identities, Squall, and Granite...
I just finished reading Skin by Ted Dekker.
My brain hurts.
@Peregrine_Appleclock / @moderators Could you extrapolate on why the Harry Potter topic was closed? (What led up to the decision, why it didn't happen before, what the thought process was, etc.)
There wasn't really much discussion beforehand, I believe it was just a forgotten topic as nobody used it much. Peregrine brought it back up recently and we all unanimously agreed any discussions would fit fine in the book topic, just like we've decided for other books/series.
Would these topics fit under that fandom rule as well? (Just trying to help)
I think so, thank you! I want to hear from the other mods before I go ahead and close them but I'm pretty sure they'll agree.
I summarized it in the closing message but basically, 1) As Iliara said, people weren't using it much; 2) Many people on this forum might not be allowed to read it, or if they have read it, are convicted against it; 3) In general I think we've decided that topics for specific books and series aren't necessary.
The people in the collective areMr. ForkleSqualGraniteBlur And Wraith .Or are you meaning their real identities?Make up names for these @Jayhawk_Greencape and be ready for some Gregory powder...
There all in a corrective class.
I meant their identities...
I need to read that one...
Amazing book, a very legit read.
Maybe not... it made me... nervous.
Nah, I'd say 14, maybe even 13. The teens today need to read more stuff like that, better then other stuff out there.
Kids do not need to read the descriptions of explicit stuff.
It is very interesting. I thought it was a book against Communism, but is actually a book against...
Totalitarianism. Basically big government control no matter how you slice it
I’ve wanted to read 1984 for a while now. I believe there’s a movie, too?I did just get Fahrenheit 51 from a friend, so good enough!
