Topic idea the third, Esquire, PHD:
Another newspaper.
Now, before all of you say we already have the Aethasian Times, keep in mind that the Aethasian Times is a monthly newspaper, whereas the idea I'm proposing would be a weekly or bi-weekly subscription, and thus, be much shorter.
A quick summary of some ideas of what this newspaper might contain:
Most Popular Roleplay of the Week:
This category would be chosen from combined data, such as number of new posts put into the roleplay, how many views and likes the new editions have, if people are talking about it in the discussion topics, etc.
Character Spotlight:
Like the old official Aetherlight character spotlights, this would consist of an interview with the subject, with various questions asked, such as "When did you first join the forums?" "How did you first hear about the forums?" "How would you like to see the forums improved?" "What's your favorite roleplay that you've written?" "What's your favorite roleplay you haven't written?" "What's your favorite forums moment?", etc.
Choosing the subject of the Character Spotlight will not be chosen deliberately, but rather, randomly. I will write as many forumers' names as I can remember on different slips of paper, toss the slips of paper in my top hat, then draw a random slip from inside, therefore deciding who will be spotlighted.
Funny Forums Moment:
Just like it sounds, this will highlight one of the funniest forum moments from the past week. If nothing funny happens during the week, a funny moment from way-back-when will be highlighted.

I'll probably think of some ideas in the middle of the night and have to revise this post in the morning (if I don't forget, lol), but until then, that's about it for now.
