(Sorry it took so long, guys. Here's segment five.)
Begin Transmission
Three weeks. Three weeks and I'm on the Top Most Wanted Thieves of Aethasia List. To say the least, it's been interesting. The criminal underworld is strong, yet vulnerable. One wrong move.. One misstep.. I could wind up in prison. So here I am. On the run, constantly evading the police, Empire, and bounty hunters. Being sent here and there to rob mansions and swipe files. Specifically any files with my name on it. . . The police are on my trail. Time to pack up and move out.

I powered my laptop down and slid it into its case. Packing came easily for me. Everything I had I could fit into my dark purple backpack and still have room for more. I glanced down at my watch. The time read 6:34. A meeting was taking place in twelve minutes on a ship. Coincidentally, that meeting was about me.
"Tinnight."
I whirled around, ready to fight until I saw it was Ralph Dreadcane. Ralph was an... Aquaintance of mine. Hardly a good one, though. He always seemed to have an investigating sort of manner....
"Yeah?" I folded my arms.
"The cops are going to be swarming this place soon. You need to move out." His tone sounded suspicious... As if he knew something I didn't.
Thinking fast, I came up with a plan to throw whoever this guy was off my trail. "Where to?"
"South slurries."
"K. I'm done packing so I'll be on my way..." ...To the Giant Seed Forest. Whoever this man was, he would not be following me anymore. I slipped my black trench coat on and left for the ship. Time was running short for me to get those files before those people read them.
The door swung open to the meeting room aboard the Marigold. A girl with raven black hair stepped through, a pistol raised. Several of the business people gasped. One stood up.
"Who are you and why have you invaded this meeting?"
The girl smirked and twirled the pistol around her fingers before pointing it at him.
"I'm th' one person ya didn't count on coming." She stepped over to the table and picked up the unopened files. "See, these files are ma property. Got my name right on 'em."
The man and several others protested but the girl smirked again and tucked them under her arm. "Looks like I'll be off then... G'day."
The gentleman made a grab for the files but the girl whacked him on the head with the pistol. "I'm sorry it 'ad ta come to that." She walked away with a tilt of her hat and shut the door behind her.
I walked briskly down the road to the Giant Seed Forest, wind whipping my hair in all directions. Earlier, I had disguised my self a bit by letting my hair loose and wearing goggles to hide my striking, dark green eyes. On the lower half of my face I wore a mask to cover the scar that stretched across my cheek. While in Evercity, I had sold my hat to a man selling food.
Evercity had been as crowded as I'd expected with people hurrying from here to there, salespeople shouting prices from their stalls, urchins stealing food from the stalls, and automatons roaming around enforcing laws and stuff.
The city life was not for me, though a month ago I might of enjoyed it. This was the heart of oppression in Aethasia. The place where the empire was most powerful. The place where everyone I loved was taken away. A tear rolled down my cheek as I thought of Noah and my mom and dad.
They're dead. I know they are. They committed treason of the highest sort.... Loyalty to the Resistance.
I turned to look at Evercity one last time, anger bursting forth from deep inside. Then I ran deeper into the empty forest.
