Well, guys, I did it.
I finally watched The Phantom of the Opera.
I didn't watch any famous movie remakes though. I actually watched a high school production I found on YouTube. It was still extremely impressive. The actors were VERY talented, their singing was fantastic, the props (including the chandelier) were intricate and beautiful, the costumes were great and the orchestra was exceptional.
As for the musical itself, BRILLIANT. I was enchanted from the start, and never grew tired of it through the end. The story really cut to my heart, and so did the music. I really felt Christine's pain through it all. And the Phantom's of course. And Raoul's and, well, ALL the characters! The story was ingenious and so enthralling.
@ERIK_DERUIN. I was so clueless. I highly underestimated you. I had no idea you were so, so much more than a mysterious masked man with a love for music. Now I know who Ra-- your enemy was, and who Christine was and EVERYTHING. Wow. Now I don't know exactly what to think of you anymore. Except. . . wow.
Mister Phantom, incredible story. bows head in deep respect
