I had a dream where my Dad and I were driving together (again!) and we stopped at a McDonald's to get something to eat. Except apparently it was in an area where a lot of Chinese people lived, so they had sliding doors and mats and things (or is that Japanese...?).
Anyway, there were actually multiple chambers we had to go through to get to the restaurant, all of which were closed off by, well, sliding doors.
But when we finally made it to the McDonald's itself, Dad ordered a burger, and I tried to order chicken nuggets, but they didn't have any, so I just asked for a sandwich. Actually all of the food there was quite unusual. Especially the bread. Dad hated the bread. My sandwich tasted fine (the bread tasted like corn bread muffins), but it had weird reddish lumps on it, so eventually I put it down.
On top of that, the food was extremely poor quality. Dad threw up, and then delivered a monologue to the entire restaurant about the importance of good food quality, then we left.
We discovered that the chambers that we had walked through to enter the McDonald's actually all used to be restaurants. Popular fast-food restaurants that were closed down because the quality was bad.
I guess we all know the fate of the McDonald's...
And that's all I will tell you.
I wonder why I remembered that one so vividly...
