Nice topic! All my dreams have been really weird in the past 5 years... either that or scary. I tell them to my family and they always roll their eyes because they're always so weird!!!

Does anyone remember their first dream, like, that they ever had? I do (maybe 'cuz it's weird ). It was about an alligator chasing me across the docks. Yeah. You get the picture

In one dream I did have Darth Vader storm through my house with his stormtroopers and cut off my leg though! Haha! That dream happened two times in two separate years!

Ha, that Darth Vader one actually sounds familiar to me, like I've dreamed something like that before.
I think my first dream was when I was 3. There were shadows of people walking around the walls, and then all of a sudden someone was tickling me.
(Boy we might creep each other out with the scary dreams!)

Although it wasn't scary at the time. Most of my dreams are very complicated. I'm also usually myself in dreams.
My sister usually dreams that she's being chased, but she's not scared (which is good!)

When the Darth Vader dream happened to me for the second time, I was dumb and did the same exact thing I did when it first happened - hide under the table. DARTH VADER ALREADY KNEW THAT HIDING SPOT

Lol, that's funny you remember from when you were 3! I don't know how old I was when I had my first one haha.... and yes we might! Maybe we should only share our good dreams lol

Still...I'm interested in the scary dreams too. I had one where the Grim Reaper was coming in through the front door and I was standing in the kitchen panicking. But then it turned out all right because this Ranger (think LotR, not national park) named Justin came in and the Grim Reaper left.

I also hate the one where I have a loose tooth. It's an adult tooth, too!! I'm always shocked, telling my mom, "I've been brushing my teeth every day!!"

When I'm telling my dreams to my sister I sometimes exaggerate some parts.. either that or make up the parts I can't remember!

I really should keep a dream diary...they're SOOO complex but I can only remember a teensy fraction 5 minutes later.
I remember there was a battle being fought in my living room, and mom was baking in the kitchen. Then I ran upstairs and was chased by an orc. Then it picked me up and carried me back down to the battlefield...but by that time it was all over so I got away. And yes, the whole battle was in my living room. The orcs were riding horses that looked like Spirit (Dreamworks)!!! Welcome to my crazy brain.

I remember I had one where I was on a field trip with my class to an aquarium. But then kids started disappearing one by one, then they came back but they were saying that we should join them and wear some weird piece of technology on our heads. We realized it was some mind control thing and started running, but we were getting caught one by one. I was left with three people and then a shark with the same piece of tech on him jumped at us and I tripped fell backwards and got swallowed by a whirlpool and landed in a control room. Some guy with glasses was watching a lot of screens and holding a joystick. Then I grabbed a large stick hit him on the head and then he passed out and I passed out too.

High five Iliara, you could be my twin!! And I thought I was weird!! Actually, a dream diary would actually be awesome, but I'm normally to lazy when I wake up to write it down... I keep saying I'll remember it but by the end of the day it's completely gone haha!

Wow!! That dream's insane!! Sounds like something I would dream...

Yeah, it's nice to know you're not alone!
There's one I've had a few times that I really don't like. Trees keep falling down, trying to hit me. I have to keep watching out because every few seconds there's another CRACK! and this big tree hits the ground. It's usually dusk or dark, too.
Or the dreams where you discover an extra level in your game, or you've just been given a part in a movie.
Once in a long while, I'm aware enough to actually try to tell other people in my dream, "This is just a dream!" But the funny thing is, they don't believe me!
I really don't like the ones where it's hard to see and you keep blinking, or you're trying to read something interesting but you keep being interrupted.

Maybe we all will start writing our dreams here!! If you have someone to share them with it's more fun!!
It's easy to be embarrassed until you realize that other people's brains do really weird things too!

Same!! In my dream I heard this really awesome music, and I was trying to focus on it but someone kept talking to me in my dream. It was really annoying.

Same too!! It's either that, or I'm in a bad dream and I say "In the name of Jesus, go away" they just laugh. It's really terrifying actually!

Oh, I hate that! Sometimes when I'm REALLY scared, I'm just calling out to Him to help me and then I finally wake up.
I LOVE dreams when Jesus is in them!! I don't have them very often, but they're amazing!

I've never had a dream with Jesus in it, though I really want to have one... I guess that's why I'm a writer: I can write things that I want to happen

I think of writing as more of a way to let the bad dreams out. In a form almost as piercing as words. Yet, if written right, it is really entertaining at the same time. I don't have a lot of "happy, fluffy" book ideas. Mostly just dystopian future type stuff or embodiments or man's dark nature, but I do have one or two.
