@caleb_Larkmagnet1, switching the rusty preacher discussion over here, if you're right that it's not a glitch and rather a concern on my part.
First, where is your info coming from that it isn't a glitch? I'm fairly new at using the forums, but doing a search with the term "rusty preacher" didn't come up with anything recent.
Second, tracking the other glitches being reported, the basic hammer was doing ice damage (I think that's been fixed now), so you can see how it's not a stretch to think that the basic rifle doing radiation damage is also a glitch.
Third, if you're right, why would the game require us to "upgrade" a rifle that claims to do "15/30 damage" but actually does "30/45 + radiation damage" to a different rifle that only does "20/35 damage"? I'm just saying that something needs to be changed. If it's supposed to be a weaker weapon, then correct it back. If it's supposed to be a powerful weapon, then change the description, and change the NPC dialogue to something that makes sense. There could be lots of reasons, similar to how Lukas let us borrow his Tesla hammer in the opening scene. But the current justification Alexander gives for the quest to "upgrade" from rusty preacher to rumpled vicar is that we'll need a more powerful weapon, and right now with the more powerful rusty preacher that justification is factually inaccurate.
