I don't think it's bad, you may want to keep track of development and buy it a little later. You can still get through the story line, it's mainly side quests that have bugs currently.

Guys! I found out how to complete the Special Delivery mission! Instead of trying to give Irving the radio beacon, just talk to him on the Isle. Then the mission should work just fine.

Jessie: Correct, my top quest is the Gear and Key. Noting your next post, maybe that's why the RP is frozen (aka Level 10...I just figured it would be Level 10 with zero additional RP, like my Level 25 character, not Level 10 with 5 RP). Did I miss a post about how to get that unstuck to move on to the next Chapter? Or am I required to sign up with a credit card for payments once the 170+ remaining free days are up in order to progress?

Mr_B6: It could be a great time to buy the game, but that depends on you. The original message they sent us after launching all the new updates is that it's in "open beta" status. So if you enjoy testing and trying things out, and if you are willing to then share your findings (problems, problem solutions, or even ideas for future improvements), then this is the perfect time to get involved in The Aetherlight. Or if you want to wait until everything is working smoothly to jump in, that's fine too.

How to produce the glitch: Craft an Aethermeter.

It's full. This has never happened to me before. Usually when I first craft the meter, it's empty. I note that the character is at level 5, which is high for crafting an Aethermeter, which may be a factor?

But Ebonatrix cannot complete the quest due to ghost battles in front of the Old Tower, again.

SFTP

Platform: iPad
Frequency: Currently unknown.

How to trigger the glitch:
1. Have an old, encrusted level 25 character.
2. Try to chose a profession via iPad instead of computer.

What happens:
The quest is accepted on the iPad normally, but then the character who is supposed to place the character in the profession says that they have already chosen the profession, when they have not. This loses the profession quest - and all the opportunity and misery that having a profession entails. (The Aetherlight is very realistic.)

The advisory: If you have an old character, get a computer to choose a profession. Also, if this glitch is affecting more than old characters and iPad users, please speak up! Thanks.

I've got a problem. This is my double account, standing next to my other double account that is not even logged into the game.
Granted, they are on different usernames. But still! It says that I'm logged in on two accounts and I'm not.

I logged in as Darkshoe and logged out again and that seems to have fixed it... I'm not sure what caused it in the first place though.

Kay, I know I've already reported this once before, but I can't find Selina. She's not in the Gazette, she's not near the Old Mount, and she isn't in Lukas' workshop either. This is halting the progress of some smaller quests that are related to Irving, Alexander, or the Old Mount, which is getting quite frustrating.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or am I the only one?

Lol @caleb_Larkmagnet1 are you trying to give her a flamingo feather? Now the game has flamingo feathers and pink feathers. She won't accept the flamingo (even though they look the exact same.

@Elizabeth_Newroad what started the glitch? Was there a quest that involved Selina that you did and now for the storyline she isn't there?

Awww, really? I can't get pink feathers though. They appear on the bird feeders, but when I click them they just disappear. They don't go to my inventory or nothin'.

Well, that sounds like a glitch unfortunately... I'll see if one of my doubles has that issue as well. A little while ago I did the Feather Hunting quest, and was able to get the pink feathers from the feeders, but I'll try again.

You can get them from a quest on the Flying L Mission Board, I don't remember which one, but I can see if I can find it again.

I know that many people probably have many glitches that affect a lot more people, but I am still stuck on this quest so I cannot progress in the story. I would really appreciate it if this could be fixed or bypassed.
