The Timekeeper's Apprentice - Breakdown Part 1 Chapter 1 Warning do not read if you have not finished ENTIRE book

Summary

In the very first chapter Madga and Jude Everbright (parents of Barthian Everbright) meet their second cousin, Joshua Everbright (son? aprentince? to Great Engineer) in the Everbright Manor (Home of the Great Engineer and Joshua). Jude gives Joshua a parcel saying 'Better to a Rule a Broken Aethasia than Serve in Paradise." It's from Lucky, who is currently leading a revolt using his secret (not secret anymore) Fog Tech. In the parcel is a bird (like the ones in the flying L) It breathed fog into Joshua. "They watched as Joshua began to cough ... and cough ... and cough. He coughed so hard his eyes were the size of eggs and his skin went as green as an apple ...(etc.)... Then he collapsed to the floor and lay still and silent. Madga asks her husband if the boy is dead. Jude replies "I should think so" (he's not) And they plan to go back to No Man's Landing, then Evercity so they can be rewarded by the new Emperor. Jude lies to the Butler and says Joshua is sick. Butler is 'flustered and upset' after hearing the news about the usurping (from a bird! I need to take a sec to appreciate the Great Engineer based his communication service off an idiom Jude pretends to be surprised at the news (dude is not a great actor btw..) They leave the Manor to head to Evercity, but will later denounce the Emperor. They will be sent to the Fogworks and will give their son to The Timekeeper to keep him safe.

Another thing that can help here: if you have access to an Amazon account or know a parent that does, posting a review on Amazon after you read the book can increase the book's Amazon rank. This can translate to more awareness of the book and more sales, which in turn helps with fundraising for the Aetherlight.

Just a thought. It doesn't have to be a long review, just put in a rating and say what you like and/or don't like about the book.

I just wanted to clarify that this book is not the big upcoming changes for the Aetherlight that I announced previously, but something different altogether.

I was making reference to upcoming changes to the game - the book is just an exciting bonus
