@Dathmaul_Crinklegadget...
I will handle your post in sections, because there is a lot to address.
I had a similar conversation with @Creel_Lenslook, where she was worried she would make spelling mistakes and such and might ruin the roleplay. I will say this once more: When I masqueraded as my previous identity, @Roguecog_Anglepinner, I was making spelling mistakes in The Holo-Log of Former RR Leader Roguecog_Anglepinner left and right, and no-on seemed to care!
It's the point you are trying to convey that matters, not how you convey it in roleplay.
Stress is common in roleplay. I feel stressed whenever I write a new edition for the Rebellion roleplay, or when I am writing one of my in-progress novels. It's a jumble of feelings, such as: "This isn't working, I should just delete it." "Aurgh! How should I get from here to here?!" "Oh no, time is running out! How am I going to finish this post within the next ten minutes?!" The most common one for me, however, is: "They expect to much from me. I'm not this great of a writer!"
It's most commonly called Writer's Fraud. "I'm not the writer they think I am! I can't live up to their expectations!" Runs through my mind every time I try to write a post. Stress is something that writers and roleplayers alike have to deal with daily, and thus, we must find ways to manage it. I like to stare out my window for extended periods of time before I continue writing, or I read a chapter of a book.
Sometimes, I might just quit altogether for the rest of the day, then come back in the morning with a fresh mind and explode two-thousand words onto a page. This might have veered a little off path, but the point is: All writers feel stressed when they write. You are not alone in this feeling.
Everyone in the University Unitious and Rebellion roleplays support you in all your writings.
Criticism on it's own is unacceptable in all my related topics. Constructive criticism, however, is welcomed with open arms. I'm not saying someone can blast you on what you are writing then pat you on the back and say try again, I'm saying a more of a "Next time, how about this?" scenario.
However, if you are worried about how the others cracked down upon @Micah_Wellpride, it was a simple mistake, where Wellpride accidentally overlooked a rule and posted a single sentence. The others resolved this problem, and the roleplay went on without a hitch.
I was away at the time of this occurrence, and the others were merely trying to protect my roleplay and enforce the rules while I was gone.
I assure you, we do not roleplayers for no undue reason. In fact, we do not single them out at all.
I agree, if you really had joined the roleplay with your above concerns weighing heavily upon your mind, it certainly wouldn't have been much fun at all.
If you think that it really won't be fun, it's ultimately your decision whether to join or not. We all have free will, and this is your decision to make.
Looking forwards to your reply,
