All of them are useful in their different ways. It really depends on how you like to play. If you go to this post, you can see how others liked their professions, and make your decision from there. :0)
It depends, Medic is good because you heal with your ability but Soldier has high crit and dodge chance, but I haven't had experience with other classes like Scholars and their +10% dmg ability.

Here are mine @Danyul_Braziervest. Thanks for the note @Sierepica_Fuzzywalker. Unfortunately, I deleted my Mechanic to make space for a new character, so I can only provide Medic and Scholar. (And Soldier, but I checked, and it's the same as @Beth_Applemine). Took only a little extra work because I took off their gear for a more accurate comparison.
