Show, don't tell, how the characters have changed over the years. Traits once subtle in childhood may have become more pronounced. The young girls have probably graduated by now. Show us how they regard their new positions in life. How do they like or dislike their various responsibilities?

I figured Ophelia would do a flash back over some of the things that had happened over the years.

I would not do that. Flashbacks are tricky. They usually come from a traumatic or life-changing experience. Using them to merely indicate the passage of time is usually a bad idea.

Reminisces can be used instead, usually with pictures or other objects that document the past. Ophelia may swell with pride at a diploma framed on the wall or various honors received in the line of duty. Lilliana may have pictures or her family and friends or sentimental objects.

Don't dwell too much on what happened if that is unimportant. It will slow down the plot and bore the reader. Show us where they are now. How are they coping with life now that they are most likely separated?

Oh ok so you already know about my “torcher” training so what I know is that I was fog washed then made to kill her. I am claustrophobic now because where they made me kill her was in a very very tiny jail cell type room. I thought I would re inform you of this and in more detail because I believe it’s getting ready to happen. Like during this mission. Also as I’m thinking about it, I’m pretty sure nobody knows this happened until I was in imp views. But if you want you could walk in on my crying or something and then I go back to my usual self the next day or something. 🤷‍♀️ What ever you want to do with the information I gave you is good

Hm did we? The reason I didn’t graduate was because the killing didn’t go as planned. Like I released her then they fog washed me and I ended up killing her under the influence of fog.
