For me, I think that they lost the element of surprise and wonder that came with new dragons. So instead a nice, rare dragon coming in for an episode; there was a new dragon every episode that it became commonplace... and consequently, not as fun.

RTTE definitely had its fun moments, THE CHICKEN!!! But it got tiring after the first season and a half. It didn't look like they were putting much work into the dragons' designs either... O_O

Yeah, I agree. And the whole thing with Viggo, it just dragged on, and oooonn, and on. Epic battle of the wits; possibly. Tired of it going on; yes.

I agree @Xonos_Darkgrate1. However, I really liked when Viggo showed up, 'cause it seemed like Hiccup was defeating all the bad guys really easy.

I think that they honestly could have left the movies off at the first one. I mean, it was nice to figure out what happened to his mom, but I didn't like it very much.

But we love RTTE. But SOMEONE got overly obsessed and now we are grounded.....

Viggo was a great villain. Krogan? Not so much. I liked it better when Viggo used dragon knowledge against Hiccup.

Viggo was a cheap copy of Thrawn. Krogan had no point. Ryker was annoying. I'm not even going to go into Dagur.

RTTE needs better villains.

@M_Rustquill Me and my sis just watched the first 7 episodes.... they're pretty good.. (except I don't like the Wingmaidens, they're kinda cringy, but hey...)
