Well, this pastry shop has more than meets the eye, I think as Draven disappears into a trapdoor.
Short summary over these crazy times: There was a bad guy, Missy got a lady to help Draven out, Cizzar enjoyed her food, and I slipped out the back after things quieted.
Only, they didn't. . . I kept tabs on the shop for the rest of the night. It might be a waste of my time, then again it might be important. Just a hunch. . . I do believe Draven has won the contest on how many people are out to get him, I muse as I watch him and the girl with white ponytails whisk through the town. I shift my leg slightly, fending off pins and needles. Rooftop stake outs are not for the faint of heart.
It's getting late, and it's time to make my decision. Go? Or stay?
Draven suddenly runs back from where he and the girl came from, yelling something like 'And it's all my fault!' Stay.
I follow him at a distance, then stop behind him, breaths coming in unsteady excitement as I watch him stop, and start watching someone else.
A dash of movement snatches at my attention and I turn my head to see another person, watching Draven as well. I narrow my eyes and sneak up behind her. She's focused on Draven, and jumps when I nudge her shoulder. She whirls around, her uncovered eye sparking with annoyance. The other eye is covered with a lens eyepatch.
"Are you friend or foe?'' I whisper through my mask.
@Missy_Vonheart @Draven_Eldercraft @Dreadsong_Darkheart @Missy_Direheart @Cizzar_Ratchetsong @Y'ALL Man, I hope I got everything about what happened right.
