"Ah, I see..." I take the package of cream puffs and ask, "May I have a cup carrier for my two coffees, please?"
Business seems to be picking up, and I see two other young ladies enter the quaint shop. One asks for doughnuts and milk, and the other greets the owner cheerfully, introducing herself as Doe. Doe? Ah, I believe I've heard Miss Kareena speak of her before. This must be her acquaintance. Hoping it will further my mission, I decide to befriend her and ask her questions. "Good morning, miss. I'm sorry. I couldn't help but overhear your conversation just now. You say your name is Doe?"
Another customer enters the shop, this time being a man. I gaze past Miss Doe, while still seeming to make eye contact with her, and my sharp eye notices his hand rest on something concealed on him. A mask hides half his face, and the language he speaks is foreign to this area. However, my time at the Academy has taught me a numerous supply of languages; so I am well equipped for any mission, including this one. I make out a few sentences Miss Owner and the gentleman are speaking but revert my attention back upon Miss Doe as she speaks.
