I think some of these rules and suggested changes could be really good, yeah.
From what I understand it sorta sounds like an expanded idea of what you are doing with the Origins threads, having one purely for the role-play and story telling then another topic for the discussion and interactions about the particular role-play which I think is a solid way of doing it.
I really do like the Role-play introduction thread idea too, having tips and tricks for getting into Role-play and that sort of thing is great. I also really like the use of Polls to communicate information without having to take up space and clog up topics with "I want to be in it" sort of posts.
Something we can also look at is giving Role-play as it's own category, it's something I have been considering for a while now so I can do that also if the masses think it would make a difference?
Regarding this thread as a whole, it looks to be working out pretty well. Something I wonder though is, it looks like a lot of people who aren't in the Think Tank have a lot of good ideas and do want to participate in the discussions, so the wondering is; Is recruiting and managing the Think Tank more effort than it's worth especially when there are too many bright minds to have in the group at one time?
Just my thoughts, take them with a grain of salt as there is good discussion here either way haha.
