"Fascinating," I muttered, holding it up to the light and peering at it through one eye.
The streets of No Man's Landing were calm below, meaning our quarry had long escaped.
"Let's return to my crate in the Grotto." I stated, pocketing the Aethermeter, "I want to know more about this Woyote fellow."
We sprinted across the rooftops and slid down the drainage pipe to my metal crate. I brushed away the newly collected dirt and trash thrown on top of it and offered Fox a seat.
"Now, who are these people?" I inquired, "Are they Autofficers from Evercity? Where and when did you meet them?"

Nola A.: Case Unsolved
Review
"And make sure Nola - er, Gracie - stays down here. If she really is Nola Applequill, I'm not sure how much I'd want to trust her."
Nola A.:Case Unsolved is the exciting tale of Nola_Applequill1's detective career and journey of truth unfolding.
Nola Applequill, a known criminal, left her grotto home to visit the office of Detective Gloria_Oldenpinner under an assumed name. After eavesdropping on a private meeting between the detective and Ariella_Newheart, Nola is arrested and interrogated by Scarlett_Darkhall, who questioned what Nola knew about a deadly group called the Legions. The excitement increases as the story continues.
Nola's usage of other forum characters is remarkable, bringing the story to life with their personalities. Her style of writing is clear and well spaced, making the story very easy to read and understand.
Although a twenty-six chapter story may seem daunting, Nola A.: Case Unsolved is a worthwhile read, keeping readers on the edge of their seats as they read each chapter.

Pain.
That was the first thought that registered in Vytanni's mind. Groggy thoughts swam around, mixing and bleeding with too many other voices till her skull was ringing. The Headmistress clenched her teeth, against the pain of her haywire Telepathic ability.
"Good, you're awake." A physical voice purred.
Vytanni pushed at the mental voices of unseen people, clearing her head enough to only hear her own thoughts. She pushed herself up into a sitting position, her dirty and dull sky-blue wings aching as she tried, but failed to ease the pressure of the too tight iron clamps. She gave them a frustrated glare. How long had she been here, kept unconscious.... days... weeks?
"Not for me." She sighed, looking up into the lifeless green eyes of her captor. "What do you want from me Zaul? Why did you wake me this time?"
The half Automaton gave a high-pitched laugh, his gears whirring.
"That fact should be obvious, even though you REFUSE to cooperate with our generous offer."
The Wynged Headmistress's icy grey eyes narrowed to slits.
"Pardon me, but I don't count the sacrifice of my residents, and betrayal of their trust to be generous."
Lucky's servant's prideful air faded. He snarled down at his prize, his mustache twitching angrily.
"I grow tired of your Resisting. If you won't do what I want, I'll be forced to bring in someone who will MAKE YOU."
The door slammed shut, making Vytanni wince at the loud noise. She pulled herself into a more comfortable position, closing her eyes and beginning to focus. She counted herself blessed that she had only been in an induced coma, instead of other typical torture methods. It left her with minimal weakness, and plenty of energy to try a new tactic.
The Headmistress clenched her teeth and pressed a finger to her temple as she opened her mind, stretching her reach to not just one, but as many of the Residents and Wynged as she could. She didn't stop to count how many, but she knew she couldn't control a connection with so many at once for long. The sky-Wynged focused.
"Listen. I am Vytanni Throttlenight. I am being held against my will under the orders of Zaul and Lucky. If you can hear me, I am in need of help. My location is uncertain, but I know we are underground, and the smell of Fog is very strong. Great Engineer Bless, and hurry, I can't hold out for much longer."
She broke the connection, gasping for breath. She clenched her eyes shut to stave of the sudden feeling of exhaustion. She could only pray the Wynged would reach her in time.

Fortunately, Rainfall didn't notice the dragon in the water and we began flying back to land.
Rainfall noticed the human with the baby dragon and became intensely interested, she glided down towards the human.
I would have followed, but I heard a faint wail in the distance. At first I thought it was the wind, echoing around the mountains at a such a frequency to create sound, but as I turned my head I noticed a dragon on top of the mountain.
I looked at everyone else around me to see if they had heard the sound. Rainfall and the human were focusing on each other, Everest was trying to get the attention of the water dragon. Aerann was...wait, where was she?
I looked back to the mountain, wondering if that was Aerann on that lonely peak.
I allowed one swift glance of everyone around me and then a shrank back into a nearby forest. I moved quickly and silently through the forest until I was some distance away from the group, and then I began to fly towards the dragon on the mountain.
I flew low to the ground, not wanting to attract attention to myself...from anyone.

"Welcome back miss." Krake says as the door closes. I blink not sure if I should glare at him or smile. I decided on glaring and gave him a death glare. He frowns and then pulls a couple levers on the dashboard. "Miss, your room is down the hall to the left. Last door."
I nod and then unbuckle my self. I stumbled down the hall and entered the fogged room where I started coughing. My respirator.... where... cough cough... is it.
I sank to my knees and coughed a ton more. Where....
My brain became fogged and my thoughts muddled as the fog grew thicker. Then everything went black.

Review
"Why would he want to hurt so many innocent people? What had we done to him? We used his fog, gave up 50 percent of our earnings to him, followed his laws, yet he still hated us,"
Although The World from Rachel Blackruin's eyes only has one episode so far, it's still worth reading.
@Rachel_Blackruin began as a farmgirl in Evergreen Meadows. She recounts the devastating Imperial attack on the Meadows, how it effected her family and the farmlands.
The World from Rachel Blackruin's eyes was off to an excellent start, but sadly, it hasn't been continued. It doesn't take long to read, so please take some time to read through it. Will @Rachel_Blackruin be continuing it? None can tell.
Overall: 86
Conclusion: Interesting, but a bit slow at times. Would love to see it continued.

~~ From the perspective of an unnamed character of mine, a traveling salesman ~~
It was noon, on a Sunday, in the dead of winter. The young man hunched further into his old, tattered jacket. He knew he should get a new one, but hey, he wasn't called a cheapskate for no reason. Besides, business had been slow lately. Probably had something to do with the fact that it was noon, on a Sunday, in the dead of winter. He let out a heavy, exaggerated sigh and started counting all the ways that this day could get worse.
One of those crazy redheaded people could come by and start lecturing him. Or another lady with a metal arm could try to steal his wares. He was seriously considering making a sign that read something like, "I reserve the right to refuse service to redheads, metal-appendaged people, and squirrels." He didn't like animals in general, especially not squirrels. They'd attacked him one too many times.
He stared up at the wooden ceiling of his merchant wagon (also known as his home), muttering under his breath about nothing in particular. The sound of shouting and heavy footsteps reached his ear, and he jumped out of his chair. Sticking his head out the window, he squinted down the street. Ol' Tony was sitting at his stand, looking bored as usual. But on the street? There were the culprits! How dare they disturb the peace of such a nice afternoon? Except it would probably rain later. The man squinted up at the clear, bright sky and sniffed the air. Yup, definitely rain.
As the annoying people ran past, he leaned further out of the merchant wagon and called, "Hello, potential customers! Can I interest you in--" But the people were already gone. The man grumbled a little, then pulled the window shutters closed. It was time for his afternoon nap anyway.

The life of a Bonnetfolly
Review
Life of a Bonnetfolly documents two people's lives. Matthew and Silverclaw. They are twins and both live by the same name, Bonnetfolly.
Overall, the story is written very well, the characters are more life-like than could be imagined, and you can definitely get a feel of what you're dealing with here. With many "real-world" references, (Jenga, board games, and such), you can almost jump into this story and play along. Which you can do actually, just fill out a bio and @Silverclaw_Bonnetfolly1, the author, will put you in. Eventually at least.
As the story progresses, more characters appear, each as exciting as before. Some are interesting, some are downright annoying, and some might just have more to themselves than meets the eye... Yet, one thing they all represent is the amazing imagination of @Silverclaw_Bonnetfolly1 and the variety of personalities you can find here today.
The story isn't written in episodes or chapter, so you'll just kinda have to keep checking for more, but it's definitely worth it. If you're thinking about reading Life of a Bonnetfolly , go ahead!

I wake up early the next morning, before the sun has risen. I sit up and pull a small circular device out of my pillow sack. I tap it three times, and it flames up, warming my hand. The flames on the surface settle down into numbers. 4:30. This device is one of the few pieces of fire technology I was able to recreate in Aethasia. I open the door of my metal crate and shut it softly behind me. Standing up, I unlock an old chest on top of my metal crate and retrieve my fire hammer. I don't plan to actually destroy the automatons, I want to give @Eerie_Coppernight some new material to work with. I sneak out of the grotto to the nearby Business District, one of my least favorite places to be. There are automatons around every corner, and no easy places to hide. However, if Georgia wants to see those races tomorrow, I'll make sure she can watch them as risk free as possible. I stop in my tracks, I hear a Troubleshooter clanking loudly around the next bend. Readying my hammer, I wait for it to come around the bend.
Wait, something's off. . .
I listen closely to the sound of the Troubleshooter's steps. Suddenly, I realize it's not alone. Peaking around the bend, I spot a whole squadron of Troubleshooters lead by an auto officer. Feeling panicked, I ran down another ally, only to find more automatons! I skid on the stone path and run the other direction, my pulse beating in my ears. No matter where I ran, there where five or six automatons there to catch me.
They must be searching for someone!
I dash back down the ally I came from, trying to find the grotto.
I guess Georgia isn't seeing the races today.
That's when I realize how lost I am now, I press myself against a building, listening to the march of automatons. Suddenly, I feel a hand grab mine and pull me inside before the automatons pass.

Cog it! I should have known this would be a bust. I had been sitting on this roof top for an hour, waiting for him to come out. I finger the black knight piece. I don't like it, he should have been out long before now.
I needed to find that building and I needed him to lead me to it. It was very important to me. It was important to the Mark.
Okay, I'm done waiting. Slipping the piece back into my pocket, I stand and leap off the roof, landing easily on the ground. I look up to see a rather large, dirty, grizzled man guarding the door.
As I approach he slips his hand inside his coat, grasping some kind of weapon.
"Excuse me." I say curtly.
He shakes his head. "Sorry, but the boss doesn't like to be disturbed when he is in conference."
My jaw tightens. "And I don't like people who are in my way."
His shoulders square with confidence. "Then I guess we're at a stalemate."
"Not at all." Three quick strikes and he lays, sprawled on the ground. Sliding the tip of the knife out of my sleeve, I slide it into the lock and turn. There is a click and I turn the knob.
Stepping inside I see what I expected to see, no one. A table sits in the middle of the dimly lit room with a few chairs around it. The chairs haven't been touched. There had been no meeting, this was simply to make sure no one followed them.
I looked around the room. There wasn't much furniture, except for an old grandfather clock.
What an odd place to put a grandfather clock... wait a minute.
Walking over to it, I grasp it and pull. Just as I suspected. It swings away from the wall on a pair of hinges, revealing a doorway leading to a long lit tunnel.
"Well that was easy." I say to myself as I step into it.

Miss K looks over at the girl to her left.(@Toren_Jumpspark) She seemed to be cutting her chains on a nearby rock. Suddenly, she stops.
Why stop? We need to get out of here now!
Miss K begins searching for something sharp to cut the chains with. If they were ever going to get out of that prison, they needed to take it one step at a time. "Do you need any help?" asked the girl with the red Resistance hat. Miss K was about to reply, when the echo of metal footsteps met her ears. "Fall back! Automatons are coming!"
The five girls lay back down and pretend to be asleep. The metal footsteps stop and the cell door creaks open.
Prisoners 1,2,3,4,5 are secure. said the guard.
Automatons. The last thing Miss K remembered. We were captured by automatons. She clenched her fists and gritted her teeth, Someone betrayed us to them!
Miss K grabbed the automaton guard's ankle in mid step, causing it to crash in the doorway of the cell. The automaton's head popped off and rolled down the passage, stopping with a clink and the end of the hall. One of Miss K's cell mates lunged towards the automaton body and wrenched something out of it's hand.
"What's that?" Miss K asked.
"Keys!" she replies, "Oh, and by the way, it's Toren."
Toren unlocks the chains of Emily, Herself, Miss K, Nola, and the girl in the red hat.
"I'm Lila," she says, "and I think I remember you."
"Five keys," says Nola curiously.
"What did you say?" asked Emily.
"There are five keys here, which means there are five more cells like ours."
How many people were captured that day? thought Miss K.

The boy. . . Craven Tellercraft or something like that, grins mischievously in response.
"Well, I have to go. See you around, Traven." I smile and wave. His grin disappears.
"It's Draven. "
"Sure thing, Sven."
"What?!"
"Gotta go!" I hide a grin and run off in the direction of an approaching noise, one I haven't heard for absolute ages.
Rounding the houses on the street the noise is coming from, I spy another girl watching something. Carefully, I climb up behind her to see what's going on. A circus procession! A thrill runs through me, until a strange little cage in one of the carts is towed pass. Inside is a boy maybe around my age with black hair and wearing raggedy clothes. His head is bent so I can't see his face, but I instantly want to help him. Who would put someone else in a cage like that?!
"He looks sad, doesn't he?'' I ask the red-haired girl next to me. She lets out a scream that would make a banshee proud and nearly topples off the roof before I grab her hand and pull her to a steady position. "So?" this girl can sneak, she'd be good at the idea I have in mind. "There's a captive, what do we do?''
She picks up her cape and shakes her head, her ponytail swishing as she does. "I don't know, ma'am," she murmurs, not meeting my gaze.
"Did you just call me ma'am?'' I ask in astonishment.
"Yes ma'am," she squeaks. I'll never get used to someone calling me that. But she looks nervous enough already.
"No matter, let's go!" I reply enthusiastically, grabbing her wrist and pulling to the edge where we climb down. "Ok, here's the plan!" I grin, nearly bouncing with excitement.
"We're going to wait until tonight to rescue the boy, and in the meantime we wait and figure out where they're keeping him! Then when it's dark, we swoop in and grab him!" I smack my left fist to my palm to emphasize my words. "I bet the circus will be up late tonight, too! It always does that on opening night and then we sneak in more easily!"
The girl nods, eyes wide with surprise.
"What's your name? I'm Glow." I hold out my hand.
"DJ!" someone adds. I look up with a suspicious expression and see Draven sitting on the roof above us.
"Split the difference and you get D.G.O., Dray." he considers this.
"Dray. . . not bad!" he grins.
"Jes' swell. Oh, Miss... Miss..."
"K." the girl speaks up. "I'm Miss K. And this is... Dray?''
"Draven, Draven Eldercraft." he leaps down from the building and shrugs in a carefree manner. "All around Jack-of-all-trades."
Miss K smirks. "You have straw in your hair, Draven."
He grimaces. "Still?"
"You can pick it out on our way, we have a human to rescue!" I say heroically, pumping my fist in the air and running off.

Duo Story role play:
The Arbitrary Antics of Ariella Newheart
Review
It's got a great story, and I'm sure that, if published, it's probably be right next to other bestsellers.
While, at the beginning, it does feel rushed, the superb details and reader-pleasing factors make up for it. Instilling a sense of adventure and the desire to stay in those wonderfully described environments, (except for the Isle...), at the same time as weaving a story around a girl and her journey.
Anyways, when I read it, here's what I thought. First of all, it's a great story, no doubt. But sometimes it feels like you're dwelling to long on ONE things or factor when you could've been adding something else. Also, I don't think there's enough character development in some places. You may planning to add more as your story goes on, but I suggest adding more to existing character's stories and backgrounds before moving on. I also advise you to add a main goal and an obstacle before it. Like a big bad, the villain of the series. While Lucky is villain enough, if you don't really portray him as the actual bad guy, then he won't seem like one. Some angry and powerful principals from the Fogworks or the Isle would probably work. Anyways, that's just my opinion. This story is absolutely amazing, @Ariella_Newheart! Keep it up!
Overall 95%
rating.
Conclusion: Already awesome, just needs some more story and character development. I repeat, AWESOME. Or arbitrary....
