All right, guys.

So, the scheduling system has been messed up due to some participant dropouts.

According to my poll, the only dropouts were @Nola_Applequill1 and @Christopher_Puddlevest1, who said so earlier. That leaves 14 of us.

I was talking with @Siege_Throttlequill on chess. Here's so of our discussion:

Yep. I'm going to make a new rule that any games started after the chess league started. (which was November 1st) can count toward the league. We're going to have to do it if people are going to be dropping out like they are.

Just make sure you play everyone at least twice. You should play one game against every player as white and the other as black. (30 games total = 15 as white/15 as black)

So if you remember correctly you only have to challenge the games you play as white. (So that will be 15. 15 other people will challenge you when you play as black.)

Make sense? If you want you can go to the forums, look up everyone who is in the league, and send out of your challenges now to get them over with. Or you can space them out. We want all the games finished by the beginning of Feb. either way.

Oh, okay! Wow, that was very informative. Thanks! happy.png I do have one question however. If someone beats me does that mean I'm eliminated? You mentioned that I will be playing against everyone twice, and I thought it would be kind of pointless to play against someone a second time if I've already been eliminated. (Just wondering)

Think of these 30 games the "regular season." Let's say you win 23 out of the 30 games, Hans Oddcraft wins 19 out of 30 and I win 21 out of 30.

Those will be used to determine what rank you'll be in the tournament. (You would be #1 because you had the most wins. I would be #2. Hans would be #3 and so on.)

The more games you win the better your rank will be. The better your ranking, the better chance you'll have in the tourney,

So you have to play all of your assigned games no matter if you lose or win your first game again an opponent.

So as of now, there will not be any more schedules. It's up to you guy's to get your games out. You'll send a challenge to each player, (Unless you've already sent one to them.) and they will send one to you.

Old games do not count unless you stated before you started playing to your opponent that the game was for the league and the opponent agreed to it.

Please give me links to your games after they are complete. Try to get the majority finished by February 1st.

You will have to send a challenge to each player that follows... (Unless you have sent a challenge to them when the league started a few weeks ago.)

So you'll send out one challenge with you playing as white to each* of those players, (Except for yourself of course!) and they will send a challenge to you with you playing as black. So 26 games in total so far. Get them done by Feb 1.

**If you have already finished/started a game against someone when the league had started, you don't need to send a new game.)

Unfortunately, I uninstalled the app I used for the standings. (I was trying to make more room for my computer because it was acting slow.)

I tried to reinstall it, but the app is going to retire in 2020 so they aren't letting people install it anymore.

I'm going to use WordPad. I hope it works.
