I'm not trying to blame you guys for making the joke, but I am saying that you picked the wrong person to make the joke against, without realizing that it was a mistake. The proper action, when you have offended someone and they are looking for redress, is not to be defensive and ignore the emotional needs of the person making the request.
When you defend your actions when someone is making an appeal for help, it's an insult. It makes people feel helpless and unwelcome on the forums, like they are wrong to ask for help when they need it. When people ask for help, they are vulnerable, and when you act superior in response, as if they are wrong to be human, you stab them in their weak places.
It's also wrong to take away valuable things that someone wants to hang onto, and then, when they ask for it back, to make it seem like they are wrong for asking. Please just restore the posts back to the way they were, please. I honestly expected better from you, @Hanna_Brassheart. I really did.
I agree. I have been slowly exiting myself from this community for some time now. There's no real point in hanging around - the game is dead and the community has gone south hard.
I just spoke up in hope that maybe I would be listened to one last time. I see that everyone here just wants to have the superior opinion at the expense of humanity and being kind, and just want to turn everything into a war. I have better places to be and better things to do than deal with this.
