On some of the Questions topics, I glanced. But most of the rest I read (albeit quickly). Also I read almost everything on here when I first joined back in say March or so. Only recently I committed to going thru all the really old/closed topics. whew

This is a good idea! If people always ask here if they are unsure about making a topic, it will cut down on excess topic spam.

So here's how I'm thinking it will work:
Someone will propose an idea for a topic.

I have an idea for a topic! Here it is! What do you think?

Then people will reply with what they think of the topic idea.

That's a great idea! You could use it for this and this, too!

Same thing, you could do both. So the people would say,

"Here's my topic idea! What do you think? (rating poll)"

Then people could reply to that if they wanted and use the rating poll.
