I know this was addressed to your older self, @Eerie_Coppernight, but I just wanted to offer a different perspective for you. I don’t know your circumstances, but living at your parents’ house doesn’t make you a loser.
Living at your parents’ house and never growing as an adult or not contributing to the upkeep of the house are examples of unhealthy living, but those are not the only reasons someone might be living at their parents’ house:
Sometimes college is crazy expensive and it’s wiser to live at home than to pay for the additional costs of living on campus or in an apartment. Sometimes you have family members who need to be taken care of. Sometimes you just need that fallback to pick yourself up and start looking for a job or house right for you.
The point is, don’t define yourself by your idea of success. Define yourself by the price Christ paid for you, then use that knowledge to live a healthy live, whether that be out of or in your parents’ house.
