Conflict is inevitable and without it you will never grow stronger. Everyone, including churches and every marriage experiences conflict, without conflict you are left weak and vulnerable when a tough situation comes up because you do not know how to deal with it, and if you do not know how to deal with it then you will probably fail in dealing with it properly. If you do not experience conflict with your friends then you either have a weak friendship with that person or you are lying to them somehow.

You have a point there. But I still do not like arguing. I always think I'm in a bad spot with friends who like to argue, when they think the friendship is fine. I don't understand it sometimes.

Heh, I’m the opposite. I always walk out of an argument cracking my knuckles and saying, “That felt great!” I guess that’s the debater in me. My sis can always tell when I’ve been debating someone because I’m in a super good mood afterward.
