@Creel_Lenslook, I understand that you are feeling hurt. And I understand that you are rubbed raw. I don’t want to offend you and I think you are an awesome young woman that is God’s treasured possession, but quite frankly I think you attitude about all this stinks. That doesn’t mean you are a bad person or less smart or anything. I just want you to think calmly about this. I’m not trying to get you to stay on the forums or anything, leaving and taking a break is a good thing, but I advise you: don’t leave in anger. Don’t stay bitter. Bitterness rots the heart and turns it to stone. Don’t let the sun go down on your anger. Remember that God loves you, Jesus loves you, and there are many people who love you (and they’ve never even met you!). Remember that we are here to be a light, and if your light is called to be elsewhere, that's fine, so long as that light doesn’t get turned to darkness.
The ground of anger and bitterness you are walking is a dangerous path. And I believe that you are hurt because you feel snubbed. But:
“The fear of man brings a snare, But he who trusts in the LORD will be exalted.”
Creel, I know you’re hurt. But you mustn’t stay angry. If we as Christians can’t even deal with each other, how will we ever stand up to persecution or even torture? We must learn to forgive as Christ forgave us, and to follow him, even if it means discomfort.
The good news is, we’re not alone. He can help us forgive even when we think it’s impossible. Ask God to give you peace and forgiveness. And if you still want to leave, that’s fine. It’s your decision. But keep up the faith, wherever you go, Creel.
And remember, “Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”
Isaiah 41:10 , and, “And He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.’ Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9
“BE ANGRY, AND yet DO NOT SIN; do not let the sun go down on your anger,”
I hope that you don’t feel offended by this post. And I really care about you Creel.
I only hope you see this post before you leave. I think it’s pretty important, and it kinda has to be for me to mention it at all, I’m not the most talkative person on here.
