The iPad hasn't been updated at all. It will not take long to update the mobile versions, because it doesn't need to be 'developed' we simply export the PC version to iOS and Android - the process takes about a week each. Maybe a little longer depending on the number of UI tweaks that need to be made. The catch is that the process of putting it on the app stores is a somewhat painful process. As a result, we aren't going to export the mobile clients until most of the bugs are cleaned up on the PC.
You see, on the PC version, when we make an update, you get a quick upload when you connect, and you're updated. For mobile versions, each update requires us to go through the entire app store approval process each time, which takes several days at a minimum. As you can see it doesn't make sense to put out the mobile versions until the PC version is relatively stable. If we keep working away at the bugs on the PC, I can see us getting to that point of stability towards the end of January, then we export the mobile versions, and presto.
P.S. when we put out the mobile versions, it won't just be tablets like before, I'd like to support phones as well.
