Got a sewing lesson today! I learned how to use a sewing machine! When I left, this is what I said to my mom: "I see a whole lot of possibilities opening up before my eyes..."
I can't wait to start making more things!!
I can also crochet, knit, and needle felt. I've crocheted some two-layer potholders (super thick, and make great coasters too) and a wallet thingy. As for knitting, obviously a scarf (hasn't every knitter at some point made a scarf? ), a mini doll scarf, and a coffee mug cozy to keep my mom's coffee warm in the morning. I think needle felting is my favorite so far, though. I have made several needle felt things, like a felted flower keychain thing for my friend and a bunch of ornaments for Christmas, and also a Christmas gift for another friend.
I'd like to learn how to sew clothes! My adult friend who taught me how to crochet said she made an entire outfit herself when she was my age.
