invokes British accent on the above quote
dies of laughter
lolz. Every time @Hanna_Brassheart and @Xonos_Darkgrate1 go after each other, I know they are both seriously talking, but I still can't stop laughing. It's classic.
Xonos_Darkgrate: This opinion is illogical and clearly makes no sense. I insist on being taken seriously.
Hanna Brassheart: X, like chill or something. This is a kid's forum. Lighten up and have some fun!
All of which misses the point that the point of logic is to feel better (in the end as a long term goal). As a wise man once said "You have to want the truth before you can learn it" - ergo, truth should lead to the greatest permanent and ongoing emotional satisfaction. However, this is not an instantaneous process and sometimes being faithful to God can lead us through some difficult places which should be taken seriously and learned from with gravitas. Truth is serious because we're fallen, our condition is truly bad and shouldn't be papered over with sunshine and flowers - that's a lie system because the sun is hot and the flowers have thorns.
But because of Jesus Christ and the sanctification process, we are getting better, and should allow ourselves to feel the fact that we are every so often. Christian joy does exist.
I know this because I was once in the position of @Xonos_Darkgrate1 very strongly not too long ago and I had someone in my life who was a lot like @Hanna_Brassheart. Both of us were wrong about a lot of stuff - I still have these moments where I'm like "My friend was right all along!" and other moments when I was right, my friend was astounded.
It happens.
Despite this highly relevant observation, I'm tempted to say that the crazy topic should be closed since it has no functional logical purpose. However, the free expression of our members' less than sensible inclinations may reveal areas of the sin nature that they need to tackle in a less painful manner than some other ways.
I started this morning depressed and I'm feeling better already...
(advance apology if either of you find this post offensive, it was not intended to make fun of either of you, rather the odd form your conflicts tend to take, and poke fun at myself for finding it entertaining, which is a bit of craziness of my own that I should probably work on.)
