I literally looked up how to speak with a Russian accent so I know how to write your character @Vytanni_Throttlenight. So far I've got strawberry-kiwi tea, Russian accent, uses large words, cheerful, boilers and buckets, and explosions. Your character is very complicated. (In my rp up to writing the first draft of chapter 14; your character is introduced in 12)
Speaking of the Arbitrary Antics of Ariella Newheart, Chapter 6 should be up on the weekend.
@Aislinn_Mollisong1 is this ok with regard to yours and Nikko's backstories?
"Aislinn just wasn't careful enough, and got caught by that Nikko. I will do better, and it's worth the risk," May replied. Aislinn? Who was Aislinn? Ariella remembered a girl in the Junior Academy named Aelis who had disappeared several months ago. Was she Aislinn? Nikko had adamantly insisted that Aelis was a spy, but no one had believed him. Ariella didn't know for sure where Aelis had gone--no one did. But May had just said that Nikko had caught Aelis. That must mean that Aelis really had been a spy, and Nikko had been right!
Nicolai Whyatov, called Nikko by his friends (and enemies, apparently), had attended the Academy Automicus years earlier than other kids his age would, becoming a Junior Autofficer. He had come back to the Junior Academy for additional training before becoming a full-fledged Autofficer. Now, if Ariella remembered right, he was being assigned to Evercity. He'd often spoken about one day being promoted to Captain of the Automaton Guard in Evercity, Lucky's personal guard, and this was one more step upward for him on the ladder of power. No one had ever thought his bragging would come to anything, and Ariella still didn't think he would ever become Captain of the Automaton Guard, but anything could happen.
- Sounds great!
- It's ok....
