Honestly, probably not.
I don't think there is that much difference in the two and I would bet that if there were both buttons we would see people doing both reacts to it as well as still writing a comment saying they like it.
Although I get your want for more interactions of that sort I just don't know how viable it would be to request such things with everyone so busy

Unfortunately, no. At that point, everyone is of moderator level and we really can't have that.
If everyone could modify their posts their posts there is no telling what sort of information could be added in after we have already seen it.
The whole reason we only have Moderators that can modify posts is so if they see any inappropriate or personal information they can remove it.

I get wanting to edit your own posts but we just simply can't do that for safety reasons.
