This the point. Move less useful posts to a different topic. Then, if people want to ignore the more useless posts they can and focus on this topic which will contain more relevant posts. If people still want to see the more worthless posts they can, but don't have to.

That's an oxymoron though. Allowing people to create more spam is not less spam. We've evidenced it through the old Club of Crazy topic and RRP. Spam does not end. We can only contain it or the moderators have to delete it. Also, we should ask @Hanna_Brassheart about creating these kind of topics before making them.

But that's the thing. There are other topics borderline spam that haven't been shut down. They do still keep going.

Having a "spam" topic with the motive that if people spam in it it will eventually end spam all together, well, that's just wrong.

I really like the origin of the idea, @Hans_Oddcraft, but this has kind of been tested before and it doesn't end very well.
