My brother's birthday party ended and I had some time, so 2.5 hours of masking later, and maybe 10-15 on the effects, I have this:
The animation was the worst part, the lightsaber itself was easy. I still have some more work to do on it though. Is that Xonos or Pig btw?
Well, me....I might look shorter than I actually am because of the horizontal stripes on my sweater, but yeah, totally me. My brother is afraid of using the lightsaber because I try to challenge him everytime he does.
Wait, so... is that just a picture or was it meant to be a video? It'd be awesome if you could do that for the whole video. Not exactly a request (seeing as it took so long for just one picture), but it'd be awesome if you did. @Riley_Lightgrate
It's the whole video, hence the 2.5 hours. It didn't look quite right when you held it close to the camera so I'm having to keyframe those parts and adjust the effects to round the edges more. I've been wanting something to work on though so this was a perfect opportunity. I also need to fix the part where the lightsaber goes behind your head since it looks like you are cutting it off.
I'm done working on this for tonight but I managed to mask your head (technically it's another layer above both the original one and the lightsaber) such that looks more natural:
@Xonos_Darkgrate1 Woahhhh, you're good!! One of my theatre teachers put together a Star Wars play once, and he had me be the villain. I had to learn all these cool fighting tricks and techniques with a light saber, similar to what you did.
Ok, this IS random, but I was looking thru photos and found this cool Boba Fett/Captain America cosplay!
Two of my favorite movie characters from two of my favorite fandoms And it’s Mandalorian armor, that’s kinda hard to mess up. If you like, make it correctly... nvm it’s pretty easy to mess up...
Wow @Riley_Lightgrate! Great job.

I believe I have the most “Nice Share” badges on the forums: 36, correct me if I am wrong.
Is there a specific reason to why it's in read mode?
I have applied the glitter gold and black decals! They look so good!! The motion sensor was being so bad, but my dad put a super thick filter on it and it seems to be working well now. The floss got replaced with thread, but for some reason floss worked better (the thread was too waxy), so we're back to floss...
The only things left to do are wait for the parts to come on Tuesday, get new batteries, and film the movie. Yesss!!

That is very, very good, @Riley_Lightgrate, what program did you use to get that effect. I am currently working on doing the same the thing with Maya.
I used Hitfilm Express. I really want the Pro version but it's $300.
Wow @Riley_Lightgrate! You and @Xonos_Darkgrate1 should make a YouTube channel. He does the stunts and you do the editing. Really nice!
I got the student (since I am a student, anyone in school can get this) version of Maya which is free for three years but the full version is $1,470.00 per year!
Ooh that's cool! Do you think I can see? I used to be a programmer. @Jacoby_Elderfun1 knows that. I think he still is one. But schooling got in the way of my programming lessons and I had to set those aside.
Anyone want to meet up in game? I'm looking for some inspiration for my rp.
Can't but if you want we can chat through chess. I sent you a new and very cool looking challenge btw.
