Yes, but I think it was some random Avicii song, and I wasn’t really impressed with it. I like the concept but I’m not sure what the best application of it would be.
The idea seems to be to teleport you into an experience so you can see things from multiple angles, like in real life - so maybe a 360 livestream would be awesome, like for an event or something. But as a video...headscratch
Okay, update for me: the reason I haven’t been on the past couple of days has nothing directly related to the school overlords. What happened is that my trusty computer of yore has finally died.
This assessment was made by me after I tried every form of computer software intelligence that I have (a lot) to revive said computer from its untimely demise, only to fail and consult professional assistance. Said professional assistance ran a hardware test on my computer, only to find that my hard drive has crashed. This prevents my computer from booting up and operating as a normal and sensible computer should. It is possible that said hard drive crash was caused by a faulty computer battery - however, given that the computer was plugged into the wall when this occurred, this cause would seem to have been eliminated.
In any event, my computer intelligence has managed to save all of my files off of the old computer, so I haven’t lost any of those - the system boot-up files have crashed, not the other ones, and I am fortunate in this regard, thus meaning the time I spent trying to revive my computer was time well spent.
However, that doesn’t change the fact that I am still sans functioning machine. A new computer is on the way but it probably will take 2-3 weeks to get here. I am typing this on my iPad.
Side note: I’m still working on the Story Embers thing, heh. I got into the main forum, but I haven’t filled out the guild application yet because I think I need to change my avatar first, and I need to find my old password to do that.
I am interested to discover that there is in fact a way to make a forum using Wordpress. This is a plug-in that I would like to look into. Aside from that, though, the title of the website is running into the navigation on my iPad, and since this is a Wordpress website, they have no excuses for that being there. Personally I’m wondering how that even happened- fire the theme coder.
Anyway, that’s enough for now. I still have my iPad so I can still do forums, but I do have an essay due on Monday...
(And no computer to type it on lol. My life is fun!)
