Sooo here we goooooooooooooo!!!!!
Well yesterday it was Saturday and it was snowing and I looked in the pantry for a snack, and my eyes laid on a chocolate chip tin. I asked my grandma if I could make cookies for everyone. She said yes and she told me to double the recipe.
Now the recipe makes about 2 and a half dozen cookies but if I doubled it that would make more than 5 dozen cookies! But into the mixing bowl eggs, flower, sugar, nuts, chocolate chips, vanilla, and all that good stuff went! Doubling everything along the way! when I scooped out everything onto baking sheets It turned out to be way more than 5 dozen!
When everything came out of the oven, the cookies looked like biscuits! And if they tasted worse than they looked that is about 90 cookies gone wrong!!!
I started thinking about all the other times my cooking had gone wrong, like one time when I made snickerdoodles and the recipe called for 1 and a fourth tsp. of salt. Now I was much younger at the time and fractions, so I thought that meant 11 and 4 tbls. so my dad was the first to try those cinnamon cookies of death, and started crying because there was so much salt! He told me to taste one and then he said to make a new batch after I tried it! The salt made me cry too, but the next batch was much, much, MUCH better!
Well it turns out that the chocolate chip cookies did taste great, and it took me about an hour to make, and I got 3 burns, made a mess, and the oven heated the kitchen up, but I'm so happy that they are good!
Well that was it! Reply away!
