Not really. The only recognized sport is fencing. Martial arts is a thing unto itself.

That's not a sport.

I suppose wrestling might count as a sport, but it's more a hybrid of showmanship and martial arts.

oh yeah!! I've done that a couple times. it works well, but I prefer to put my hair in French braids. (Or are they dutch braids....? I can't tell the difference. XD basically French and Dutch braids are sorta opposites.)

I'd like to challenge this statement. This comment is obviously referring to "Professional Wrestling" which is complete showmanship and staged. It is not a sport.

Actual competitive wrestling which is a sport that is practiced in youth clubs, highschool, colleges, and is in The Olympics is nothing like it.
There are three different types of wrestling:

Folkstyle (Highschool, college)
Roman Greco (Olympics)
Freestyle (National, international, Olympics)

They each have their own scoring systems, rules, and skill sets required. WRESTLING IS A SPORT.

*TypeS Multiple, most common are Foil, Epee, and Sabre. My brother and sister used to do fencing, one used sabre, the other used foil, I think.
