Summary
I present to you a new and improved party system:
In the new system each party (except the Independent party) will be assigned a head committee of three people. Each party's committee will represent a different demographic of the forum's population. The Independent party shall not have a committee so that potential candidates that are not chosen may still run.The committee at the head of each party will use whatever method they deem best to choose a candidate to represent that party. The three people at the head of each party will join together to form a governing body of nine people who will make up the Senate that will effectively replace the Court. As the Senate will be composed of party heads this will allow the main law making body to be composed of people who are involved in the political system somewhere else, which makes better sense, as the lawmakers will be more directly involved with the laws they enact. The party heads shall be appointed by the judges at first and will only be replaced upon leaving the party, the forums, or a long period of inactivity (two to three months). A party head may be removed by the other two party heads should that user's lack of involvement cause issues.
This is how I pose the parties will look like: we could have one party headed by the moderators, one party headed by people who joined within the first year of the "new" forums, and another party composed of more recently joined members. The Independent party would continue to act under the Presidential system currently in place with anyone being able to run for it.A party head may run (except for the moderator party), but would still be subject to the two term/three run limit. Parties can choose other people beside themselves to run each month through any method they want, for example, a party membership and loyalty system, a vote to run system like is currently in place, a decision or vote by the party heads, or a random selection. This is up to the party heads. Party heads have the right to change the party name and party rules as long as the Senate does not object. As each party will be headed by a certain demographic each party should stand for something similar and appeal to a certain group. If someone wants to run for president and does not get selected they can always try through the old method with the Independent party.
