Hey guys. I wanted to lift up the families and community around the recent shooting.
Before everyone gets onto the 'gay is sinful' train, remember that God calls us to go into ALL nations (and people groups) and make disciples, and that we must love our neighbors as ourselves. No matter who those may be. We need to love those in the LGBTQ+ community just like we love our christian friends on here, and as far as I know, God calls us to do that.
As a second prayer request, I pray this community would pull a Job 34 on the christian community and help lead others (back) to a full relationship with God.
As for those who say they can't make that difference, or that they don't have the 'gift' of evangelism, just know that evangelism is a tool. More angels rejoice anyway when one soul you witness to for years comes to the lord than when hundreds of Christians rededicate in an hour.
Bottom line: God loves all of his creation, and so should we. I pray that you would prayerfully join me in turning our eyes back towards God.
