Hey, all! Got a short prayer request, but all the same it's still one that needs prayer.

I called my girlfriend once I got back home a couple minutes ago and she said she started feeling sick to her stomach from some old food I guess she ate. Please pray the Lord will heal her and she'll feel better even by the morning and not have to deal with the side effects of the bug. I feel pretty bad for her since she's supposed to work tomorrow, but I know it'll all work out somehow.

Clearly this is the case. Plot twist!

Anyway, my younger brother has taken ill. It is merely a cold, but he seems to be suffering rather badly. I would also appreciate prayer that I do not acquire the illness, as it is crunch time in Evergreen Meadows University.

Update: It seems that the Lord is not willing to answer this one. I have acquired the illness, although my symptoms are not nearly as severe as my brothers', thankfully. I'm still feeling a bit feverish and am applying lemon and honey to my mild sore throat. Still doing my work.

Worse, my brother took a COVID test at work and it came up positive. Both of us are vaccinated for the virus and I can still taste everything, so it's probably Omicron or some sort of false positive. Would still appreciate prayer. Thanks.

Sadly, getting COVID after being vaccinated is quite common. The vaccine is supposed to keep you out of the hospital, though. I've had COVID twice, once before and once after getting vaccinated. Get enough rest, and we'll pray for a speedy recovery!

Yeah. I’m not going to the hospital by any stretch, but this isn’t really comfortable. We’re both coughing and I’m sneezing a bit, and I felt feverish for three days. I passed on the chess tournament tonight and my brother has been working from home to avoid infecting other folks.

I only have one brother, heh. Sorry about the typo.

I had a cold similar to this a while back (wasn’t covid) and I had a fever for three or four days. I prayed over it and my fever began dropping almost immediately. PTL! (Praise the Lord) I will be praying for you, @Sierepica_Fuzzywalker! Hope you feel better soon.

I survived.

Anyway, I am now on the hunt for suitable income to sustain my Fuzzywalking existence for a little bit longer, so if you are inclined to not wish for my death (unlikely ) I would appreciate it if you would pray for God to guide me toward the employment he wishes me to have, whatever that may be.

It also has come to my attention that a dear friend of mine is in a similar predicament, so I would appreciate prayer for her as well. Both of us are somewhat difficult employment candidates in need of divine assistance.

My whole family has a cold. Not covid, but we've gone through a lot of boxes of tissues. I think we're over the worst of it, but prayers would be appreciated that the Lord sends healing to clear the rest of it up, and protection so that we don't accidentally spread it to anyone else.
