SFDP, but I just read the other posts! My above comment may have been a little out of line considering the context, haha. My apologies.
Let's talk for a minute...
For Levi's Eyes Only (please respect this)
I get the feeling that you posted that poll actually wondering if other people thought your attitude was good or not. Well, I also get the feeling that some people who voted didn't take it as seriously as you did. On the internet, you have to be careful with what you write or you may get a response that is totally right if it read in a different tone, or totally wrong, and vice-versa. When you aren't clear about your tone, it's up to others to interpret it.
So, you may have gotten some humorous responses to your poll, because it may not have been clear. Then those humorous responses themselves weren't clear, so you took them seriously since you meant the poll to be serious. Ha, see how many problems communicating online can cause!
That's one way in which emojis can be very helpful.
Another thing to keep in mind is that people who are voting on these polls do not know you in real life. No one here actually knows what you are like! Take the votes with a grain of salt, and see if you can use them to better yourself, even if they might not be right.
And, you did put that option there. Regardless of whatever option it is, it's on the poll, so whoever wants to should be able to vote it.
One last thing. Consider your behavior in responding to Hans and Emily. Do you think it would cause them to reconsider their choice on the poll?
Hey guys, this applies to you too. Since neither of you is a customary emoji user, it's hard to tell what your tone is! Misunderstandings happen easily online; did you mean to be more lighthearted than serious in your posts to Levi? Because, without forcing an interpretation, it didn't sound like it.
Even though Levi did put that option there, common courtesy still applies to you! it's fine to poke fun at someone or to be kindly honest—that's all. If a serious critique of Levi's attitude were necessary, it should have been done in private, without namecalling, with no one else watching. Thanks guys.
