I wonder which one was invented first.
Probably cheese. I think they've found some pretty old evidence of cheese, whereas I'm not sure that cocoa beans were used until the Olmecs, which was still a while ago but I don't think as old.

Cheese is mentioned in the Book of Samuel in around 1000 B.C.. Chocolate wasn't developed until the 16th century when cocoa was imported to Europe.
