So, long story short, me and @Lilliana_Umbrellascope were talking about The Greatest Showman. She told me she had written a parody of From Now On (The one posted above ), she showed it to me, and I loved it! Then I had this awesome idea, what if we teamed up and made a parody of The Other Side from The Greatest Showman, about a Rebel trying to get an Imperial to join the resistance? Well ladies and gents, here is the product of that idea...

Bet you’re surprised by this, aren’t you?

I haven’t really presented myself as musical before, but that’s only because the opportunity never revealed itself.

Upon discovering the song One Shot by Newsboys, I was instantly overcome with possibilities, but eventually chose upon the following set of lyrics.

Keep in mind that this is my first time making a parody in a long time, and as such, it won’t be as polished as any of @Eerie_Coppernight’s parodies.

It’s not my best work, I’ll admit, but I’m happy with it, and that’s what matters.

This song is sung from the perspective of an Imperial, and his fluctuating and conflicting feelings about Lucky’s forced image of Aethesia, and the reality of the situation, which the Imperial is beginning to see.

Mind you, the fog rot depicted in this song is not the fog rot which rots food, cloth, and metal. Rather, it’s a milder version, but still deadly. It may be compared with the flu, but upon recovery, it has several nasty side effects, such as asthma and a weakened immunity system.
