It's a wii video game. The game's design is bright and colorful with excellent animation. The gaming instructions are clear and well-taught, and the story itself is very interesting.
I'll rank the game for you on of scale of 1 to 10 (1 being the worst) on some of Zelda's major game flaws: porny side characters (or main characters), game religion, and dark magic.
Porny characters: 9/10
In my experience watching Skyward Sword, I've barely seen a single inappropriately-dressed character. I may remember one Guerudo woman Link met once, but other than that, I really can't remember anything significantly revealing any character is wearing. (If someone knows better, feel free to prove me wrong) As for now, Skyward Sword is the cleanest non-Toon Link Zelda game I know of.
Game religion: 4/10
Like most Zelda games, Skyward Sword pays a good deal of attention to the Triforce, the three goddesses, and "spiritual purification" junk. However, though religion is a key factor of the story, Link is never forced to pray to an idol, make sacrifices, or preform any dark rituals (unless you count playing a harp to open a door while his partner sings along). Link does, however, undergo spiritual trials known as Silent Realms to strengthen his sword. Again, though, these trials are little more than gamer tests of speed, smarts, and persistence. If you want to play a Zelda game that barely pays any attention to the Triforce than I'd suggest Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.
Dark Magic: 8/10
More points for Skyward Sword in this genre. This game, unlike Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, and Phantom Hourglass, is extremely light on dark magic. The villain, Demise, is known as an ancient demon king. However, he remains a distant threat and promising final boss battle. In the meantime, his forerunner, whose name I've forgotten, ever peruses Zelda during her journey with Impa and releases boss after boss to destroy Link. These boss battles, however, have little to no magical properties. All in all, the most dark magic I've seen from this game is regenerating skeletons (thankfully there aren't many of those) and zombie Bokoblins (again, very few of them).
I'm happy to answer any father questions you might have concerning Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
