I haven't played organized sports since I was- eight, I believe?- but I had an amazing time when I did. I got the most home runs of anyone on my baseball team the one and only season I played.
My one regret was being stuck in the outfield so much. I remember it clear as day: my legs would get tired after standing, I would sit down and draw in the dust, maybe even picking a dandelion or two, before I noticed someone waving their hands in the crowd (Hi, Mom.), motioning for me to get to me feet, and I would obey... for the next five minutes, until I forgot and sat back down again lol. That didn't stop me from leaping to me feet and running like a madman for the ball whenever I heard the telltale crack of a bat, though, so it was a win-win for everyone! XD
I do tetherball, basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer, and archery whenever I get the chance, but it's pretty hard to find anyone to play with, so I don't get the chances to practice as much as I want to.
Nice, I've always wondered what wrestling would be like.
I agree about the basketball rule 100%.
Is that good or bad for you personally?
