I still have a personal mission to Master craft everything I can before I choose a profession. So, I decided to sit myself down and map out all the base ingredients I need to craft for everything. Any outfits I have not crafted, I counted every ingredient for that plan, even if I have some of the ingredients already in my inventory. For things like dyes and weapons, I had to multiply the recipe's ingredients by how many times more I had to craft it to attain master crafting. For things like chromic acid and gyrostabilizers, I broke down those to basic ingredients and multiplied those by how many crafted items I needed. I think it took me an hour to create my "shopping list" but it is worth it to me to see what I have left.

My top ten most wanted items:

1727 Cogs (Most of these are for master crafting weapons)
129 Watering cans (I did not break this item down, since I could easily add all cans together)
111 Ice
44 Crocodile Tears
42 Gold Petals
38 Steam Cans
36 Venom (I looked, and I have enough glass vials for both Tears and Venom)
34 Plant Cans
30 Lens
24 Indigo Petals

Only one recipe had unusual ingredients: 8 Tantalum Springs and 15 Steel Cans.

I added the Petals and Plant Cans together, and I need 100 Plants. This means, I am still at least 50 days away from being a Master Craftsman. So, that means....
I have this goal. To be a Master Craftsman by October 1st. That is 71 days from now. Think I can do it?

By the way, where can I "consistently" find Tantalum Springs and Steel Cans?

I'd try the Lagoon areas for tantalum and then just pick up the cans on the ground for steel cans.

You can find new materials in the lagoon area by looking in barrels and fighting autos.
