Well, the nominations are only suggestions—the staff may very well decide to give someone a badge completely independent of anybody’s nominations. It’s just for if someone sees someone else who they feel has been doing a lot of good for the forums, and wants to make sure the mods don’t overlook them. Nominating someone won’t guarantee they’re given a badge.But I understand what you’re conerned about. Let’s see what @Coop_Blimppenny thinks.
