This is a drawback of any Java server, though. Cross play really can't work unfortunately.

Unfortunately I don't think anyone does. Your best bet would be to spawn a wither at the nether roof and have a ton of chickens there. I can help you if you would like.

It will be. I needed a safe way to get XP quickly. :0) I need to eat lunch now tho... :0) (The wither roses are for the magma cube farm I'm planning. :0) )

So I tested that Geyser MC thing and it works! I was able to join my test Java server from my bedrock Windows client and interact with the Java client.

Part of me wants to buy Minecraft on mobile ($6.99) just to test that as well. The only caveat is Geyser (and any other third party server for that matter) work with Switch or console players without them configuring their networks differently, as per [https://apexminecrafthosting.com/how-to-join-a-bedrock-edition-server-on-xbox-switch/].

Nah, under the End Portal (The one to the Overworld in the End) That way it can't escape in any way, and then you can have more chickens
