I understand your hesitancy. You wouldn't necessarily have to scour the forums for "problematic posts" or anything like that. As an example, if you happen to see a spam post popping up while you're online, then you could quote it on the Members' Union topic and encourage the user not to spam, but I understand if you aren't able to make a commitment like that.

As for it being a "step above the Member role" (which it seems like you view in an unfavorable light), I actually disagree. Moderators and Members have been doing this for a long time, but we've never had a topic dedicated to it. I also made sure to run my idea past the Moderators beforehand, so it has their full support.

I would like to point out, in case anyone was concerned, that this isn't a topic of nitpicking and criticism, but rather, encouragement, loving correction and friendly discipline. If we can find a way to do that, and create an atmosphere of accountability and positivity, then this project can go a long way. (I'm talking to myself as much as I'm talking to you guys heheh)

I can't find your first post from your profile. Plus Jacoby made it, so I think if he wants it closed then he will. I don't see anything wrong with the topic. It's making our time here more memorable. When the new people are here and we aren't, they have a way to see who here was before them. It's a big ol' sappy trip down memory lane (which I approve of) and I hope the future members will appreciate it.

Yeah, that doesn't work. Do your realize how many posts I have made alone in my two years here? Look at the Imperial Views RP. I have almost 3000 posts in there alone. That method doesn't work very well for people that have been on for a long time.
