Honest to goodness, only moderators can change official rules. Anything else is free range of the members. All to say, these rules aren't truly official.

The Court is there for that.

The Presidential Races do that.

Practically isn't the foundation of the forums. It's the community, the people, their needs, their ideas, and their relationships with each other. Practicality has little place in the community, because this community is built on time, conversation, love, and most importantly, Christ.

When I said 'practicality' I meant how you can go on talking about these things that should happen to the forums, but you no plan to actually implement these ideas.

I don't see how giving the Grammar Police more power will truly help in any of those ways.

It encourages efficiency.

I've been trying my hardest to complete them! I created topics and spread the ideas. However, I can't change the forums, that's something we're all responsible for.

Because I made it so that only the President could change them. If I go against my word it will make them meaningless.

My fellow Resistance recruits, I am honored and humbled to already have so many votes in favor of me being the Aethasians Guild representative. Many of the forum's greatest minds are considering leaving because of how unnoticed and unnecessary they feel. This system is a good one, yes, but more need to be done to sustain the forums. One reason why I'm running for President.

Okay. -breathes-I really wanted to add on to what @Nola_Applequill1 said, especially her 4th reason.

They feel the Aetherlight Forums are not as "fun" as they used to be, or as "original" as they used to be.

Once I got on, I could feel that the forums weren't exactly the same anymore, at least not when I was active. People seemed a little... reluctant. To introduce new people to the forums. It's almost like we've reached the maximum amount of newcomers. The Aetherlight Forums from what I can tell is almost becoming a VIP club. A place where only certain people are allowed.

Isn't that all a little bit... stupid?

The forums is losing its love. Its warmth. Its invitation to Christians all around the world. I'm not saying it's completely lost it, but it certainly doesn't have what it once had.People are beginning to shelter themselves. Maybe that's why so many people are leaving. The forums have become a bit... dull, so to speak. Why?

...well, it's because us.

I know things are changing. Change is inevitable. But let's step back for a moment. It's not the forums that's changing. It's the people. Our goals. Our ways. Our warmth. Our love. People come and go. People have ideas. But can we keep just one thing?

Our welcomeness?

Our passion for each other? Our love for all our brothers and sisters for Christ? This isn't a place dedicated to a few people. Everyone deserves the warmth we spread around here.

The forums are changing.It can be difficult.But don't leave because of that.Stay.Because the forums needs people to reform the warmth we once had.And that starts with you.

If you want my honest to good opinion, I think we need to reform this presidential system. A lot.
It seems as if it's not focusing on the problems that are really happening, and there are no new ideas.
For now, we need to reform the forums. It's sort of desperate.
@Hans_Oddcraft, I encourage you begin focusing on this problem rather than anything else.

People are dropping out. People are beginning to wonder if they would be forgotten. People are not living up to the hype the forums once was. I mean, it's sort of turned dull. Without anything being done, we're all going to see the crumbling of this place.
